The story begins with two characters who have narrowly escaped a potential disaster, finding themselves hungry, thirsty, and exhausted as they desperately search for the chalk tree. This miraculous tree bears chalk as its fruit, and anything drawn with the chalk becomes real! Initially, the duo uses the chalk for their basic needs; however, they soon spiral into extravagance, unnecessary consumption, and jealousy.
